Portrait Session

My passion is to create real and candid portraits of children, teens and families in natural settings to capture their true personalities and relationships. I strive to produce a work of art that you will cherish for decades, and to become your family photographer for life. I hope to make your photo session a fun, enjoyable, and stress-free experience and will ensure that my photography captures the moments that celebrate Love, Life and Family! We also offer High School Senior Portrait Sessions that are fun, innovative, contemporary, and different! We want to celebrate you by allowing you to be real and enabling you to be different, to be yourself! Whatever location or locations (we love a road trip) best represents you, that is where we will go to photograph your session! I love to photograph my subjects in natural settings without any pressure to smile or pose a certain way. We enjoy capturing the moment, relationships, not fake smiles. If smiles happen naturally, great!. If not, we will not force them. Our creation fees begin at $150 and include the following: the time my assistant and I will spend photographing your family (up to 2 hours) and the editing and creating of each individual image for you to view online and through a custom created web slideshow that will be posted within a few days of the session. When you book your appointment, we will hold a pre-session consultation (by phone or in person) to discuss what you would like out of your portrait session, the location of the session, and what clothing would be appropriate. We will also discuss what props will be used, if you desire to do so (e.g., a favorite toy or blanket). Kids and babies look their best barefoot and people photograph well in solid colors. This focuses attention on the subjects, not their attire. This is your photo session and I am completely open to hear your suggestions and special requests. We will work together to create the photos you want to see. I want to help you celebrate your family’s special moments. I’d love to photograph your newborn babies, your children as they grow older, and your seniors as they get ready to enter the “real” world. I also want to photograph your family and document your love and relationships. Each one to two hour portrait session will take place at a location of your choice. After the session, we will airbrush and prepare each image individually for you to view online within one to two weeks of your session. You will then be able to view your proofs and order your prints online. They will be available for viewing for 30 days. All images can be ordered in color, sepia, black and white, or I can custom tint each image digitally or by hand.

With a rare combination of elegant portraiture and creative photojournalism, we will tell your love story in images that will forever be cherished. We know every wedding is special and different in its own way. We will work with you to create extraordinary memories of the most important day of your life, from preparing for your engagement session and bridal portraits to selecting your favorite wedding day images for your magazine style coffee table book or traditional wedding album. We have a wide variety of albums for you to choose from. Our packages range from $1995 to $5995 and are customizable to meet your individual needs. You will love all of our products: albums and coffee table books, save-the-date cards, custom greeting and thank you cards, guest sign-in books, just to name a few! A Day in the Life

A Day in the Life" is one of our specialty sessions, which offers a photojournalistic approach to documenting a day in the life of your child(ren) using a combination of color and black and white photography. The parents are welcome to take part in the session as well. The package includes an on location shoot at up to two locations (i.e., home, birthday party, and/or park). This session includes: 20-4x6, 4x5 or 5x5 prints, 48 wallets (same pose), and 2-8x10 prints. Additional prints may be purchased separately. You will also be able to view a custom made slideshow with the best images of the session set to music online to share with family and friends. Click on the link below to view a sample. In addition, you can order one of our bound storybook albums to include all of your favorite prints from the session. And your child will feel so special to see he is the special character in his own storybook. "A Day in the Life" can be scheduled on a special day for your kids or an average day at the park or playing with the family pet and eating ice cream. It can also be divided up into several days to include images from different occasions. We can customize the session for you at your request. The storybook album, much like a bound wedding album creates a photographic record of your child's special day. The results can be quite spectacular. Not only do the images reflect what it's like to live your child's life for a day, but it is also a beautifully designed volume that will be a family heirloom for generations to come. After ordering the first album, you have the option of purchasing additional albums (including mini albums) at discounted prices.

Welcome To Our World

The most important day in your life is the day you bring a new life to this world. What joy when that wonderful baby is born and you get to count all the fingers and toes. You never get tired of staring at him and wish you could stop time. I would love for you to let me help you do just that. I want to visit you and your baby at the hospital or home during his first days of life and photograph that bundle of joy. I know most new mommies DO NOT want to be photographed. That’s ok!!! The purpose of this session is really to photograph the new addition to your family. Any other family member that wants to be included is more than welcome, but it is not necessary. My main goal is to photograph those cute little feet that belong to grandpa, the hands that are just like grandma’s, the face, the smile, the eyes. Babies change so much day-to-day and month-to-month. Why not let me help you cherish those first days and revisit them whenever you want for the rest of your life? Annoucements And Holiday Cards

Show off your newborn baby by allowing me to custom create and design his/her birth announcements using images from one of our sessions. Your heart will melt when you see them. You can also order holiday cards from your favorite prints anytime during the year. Discount pricing is available for higher quantity orders.

Colorizing Photos

Each portrait session, specialty session, and wedding client will view a web-based slideshow set to music with the best images from the session or event. We will select a handful of images to do special finishes, black and white, sepia and tinted effects at no additional charge. Black and white prints can be individually hand tinted with artist's oils for an additional charge.
